Devious Lick is a curse with a monstrous appetite, mindlessly seeking out and eating anything in its path. It has extremely durable skin, unable to be damaged through any normal means.

Devious Lick
Troy Demasters, Diego de la Vega, and Nicole Brooks encounter the Devious Lick at Pinebrook Elementary School. Despite their efforts, its skin is impervious to their attacks. Nicole devises a strategy to implant a bookunai into one of Diego's squid constructs, luring Devious Lick to consume the bookunai and reveal its weak spot. While Diego distracts Devious Lick with his squids, Troy enters it from within and Nicole directs him towards its soul. While inside Devious Lick, Troy finds four children trapped inside. He experiences a flashback of his deceased friends and has an anxiety attack. Nicole calms Troy down and he is able to locate the soul and exorcise the curse.
