Rosalina "Rose" Delmar is a side character in the Buzzutsu Kaisen series. She uses her technique to cloak the cursed energy signature of Buzzutsu Academy. Because of her important role, she is largely confined to the academy and rarely sees combat. She is the sister of Ezekiel Delmar, but they are estranged.

Appearance

Rosalina is a young woman of roughly average height, with medium-length blonde hair and brown eyes.

Personality

Rosa tends to be shy around others, though when she does speak she does so very matter-of-factly. She is stunted socially as a result of not being allowed to leave the academy until recently. She feels like she is trapped at the academy and wishes she could leave more often, though feels a great responsibility to Mr. C who raised her.

Wayward Bearing Technique

Rosa's technique alters your perception of direction, essentially applying a new compass rose. For example, if you try to move north while the technique is active you will move in any other direction that is NOT north, despite thinking you are still moving north. This technique is activated and placed on others through hand signs and the tattooed sigils she has on her palms. Whatever new compass rose she forces her opponent to obey is randomized, but it is fixed. For example, if you attempted to move north and actually moved east, then east is your new north. This technique can be overcome if the opponent is able to understand and adapt to their new sense of direction. If they understood that in order to move north they had to move east, then they could essentially move freely as long as they abide by the new compass rose. Rosa can, in theory, keep applying her technique to her opponent, thus resetting the technique and applying a new compass rose. However, this would be very taxing and would leave her weakened and her technique burnt out.

This technique is also applied to the academy as anyone who looks at the academy will have their perception diverted to any other direction, effectively cloaking the academy from sight. if you try and walk towards it, you will move around it/away from it without ever knowing it.

Rose was created as a substitute for the real-life counterpart of IRL Troy's ex-girlfriend.
