Raphael, born Gabriel de Leon-Mensah, is a recurring character of the Buzzutsu Kaisen series.
Appearance
Raphael is a tall, young man with a lean build, dark, curly hair, and brown eyes.
Personality
Not much is known about Raphael, who prefers to keep to himself. He is often described as a "lone wolf" type, choosing to keep his allegiances hidden from others.
Abilities and Powers
Buzzutsu
Raphael is host to six out of seven cursed spirits known as the Seven Deadly Sins.
Gluttony
Gluttony possesses the Devour technique. Using the large mouth located on its abdomen, Gluttony consumes anything within a 50-meter radius. Once its mouth opens, escaping its black hole-like pull is nearly impossible.
Sloth
Sloth has the ability to spread his lethargy to others using his Pit of Apathy technique. From the comfort of Sloth’s throne, Sloth projects a pit that will put his opponents into a sleep-like trance. This pit is invisible until you are within it’s bounds (of which are unknown).
Pride
The fallen angel Pride’s technique, Star Manipulation allows him to harness the power of the night sky, summoning constellation beasts, firing beams of light, and sending a cascade of stars towards his opponents in a deadly meteor shower.
Greed
This deadly sin possesses the Midas Touch, turning anything it touches into a precious material.
Lust
Lust has an uncontrollable urge to fulfill her darkest desires. Her technique Succubus allows her to take over the minds of any who are cracked by her whip. Even the smallest cut can turn a human opponent into an obedient servant intoxicated by her touch. There’s no limit to how many people can succumb to her touch and the effects are difficult to reverse.
Wrath
Wrath’s Fury technique suffuses Wrath with increased speed and strength the more upset he is. The limit to Wrath’s rage is unknown so it’s possible there is no limit to his cursed energy output.
