Melanie Majors, or Mel, is a side antagonist of the Buzzutsu Kaisen series. Originally a non-sorcerer, Warren's corruption granted her a cursed technique.

Her preexisting urge to claim to be blacker than others has now been fully realized with her technique Melanin Manipulation, allowing her to manipulate the melanin of those around her. Siphoning melanin grants her access to many abilities: she can condense it into a deadly projectile, convert it into a piercing beam, or absorb it into her skin to bolster her resistance to cursed energy (as well as the sun).

Melanie’s domain expansion Blackened Dominion expels all the melanin she has absorbed, fusing it to the skin of those caught in the domain. This grants Melanie total control of those infused with her melanin.
