The catch is that her soul is forever bound to the staff, meaning that should the staff be lost or destroyed, she would die. In return for this strict rule, the staff shares it's lifeforce with Elysia- creating a constant loop of healing energy, effectively making her impossible to harm or kill. Elysia also has access to Caduceus' special technique: Purge. Elysia can fully awaken the staff to deliver a blast of purifying flames that can purge anything of cursed energy. Elysia Fielding, or Ely, is a side character of the Buzzutsu Kaisen series. She is the primary healer within Buzzutsu Academy.
