Elysia Fielding, or Ely, is a side character of the Buzzutsu Kaisen series. She is the primary healer within [[Buzzutsu Academy]].

Elysia can heal others through her proficient usage of reverse cursed healing. She can also sense the exact physical condition of anyone she touches, perfectly assessing and diagnosing any ailments or injuries.
===Buzzutsu===

Elysia does not have an innate cursed technique perse, instead she pairs her reverse cursed healing with special grade cursed object: Caduceus. Caduceus is a semi-sentient staff of unknown origin that Elysia uses as a conduit for her reverse cursed healing, greatly augmenting it's output. The catch is that her soul is forever bound to the staff, meaning that should the staff be lost or destroyed, she would die. In return for this strict rule, the staff shares it's lifeforce with Elysia- creating a constant loop of healing energy, effectively making her impossible to harm or kill. Elysia also has access to Caduceus' special technique: Purge. Elysia can fully awaken the staff to deliver a blast of purifying flames that can purge anything of cursed energy. This technique is quite powerful and requires the channeling of a tremendous amount of cursed energy, leaving her in a weakened state.

Connor Castillo is an antagonist of the Buzzutsu Kaisen series. He is a very old cursed spirit born from the negative emotions surrounding politicians.

==Appearance==

Connor is a shorter humanoid figure with spiky black hair. In his cursed spirit form, Deimos, his features grow more impish with pointed ears and a mask-like face with nothing more than large grin stretching across it. His body becomes covered in small slips of worn-out paper etched with cursive writing- a physical manifestation of his lies he has yet to turn true.

Connor is known to gain pleasure from deceiving others. He is highly ambitious and is willing to do what needs to be done in order to gain influence and power.

===Buzzutsu===

Connor possesses the Fibber Technique. When Connor tells a lie, his technique stores that lie into a slip of old, weathered parchment that appears on his skin. This slip is a '''fib''', which Connor can burn to turn that stored lie into truth. For example, if Connor were to say "my fingers are knives" and a fib appears on his body, he could then spend that fib to then turn his fingers into knives. Each fib he creates and spends is comprised of cursed energy, so while in theory he could create fibs and spend them endlessly, that would require Connor to have an infinite supply of cursed energy (which he does not). Despite being a cursed spirit and naturally possessing reverse cursed healing, his cursed energy production is susceptible from being slowed or stopped. His reserve of cursed energy he can spend on fibs is referred to as his "lie-o-meter" - the fuller the meter, the bigger the fib he can spend.

Another important note about his fibs is that they are NOT permanent. Reality is rigid, so when Connor bends reality to manifest a lie, it doesn't take very long for reality to bend back and correct this warping of reality. The only way that a fib can be made permanent is through his domain expansion. Connor's domain, "'''Capitol Hill"''', activates when Connor spends the entirety of his lie-o-meter. Within his domain, his lie is stored within a proposed bill, that he must present to his Cursed Congress. The Cursed Congress is made up of 2 parts: the House of Representatives comprised of the wisest and greatest thinkers of mankind, and the Senate comprised of various spirits representing the spirit world. Connor's bill must win by majority vote by both for it to be passed. However, both the House and Senate can propose changes to the original bill, which may delay the process. Once both sides are in agreement of what the bill should entail, it is then passed to the president of the Cursed Congress: Othniel. Othniel is an ancient being of unknown origin, and is the one who ultimately decides if the bill will pass or if it will be vetoed. Unlike in the American government, a veto from Othniel cannot be overridden. Once A bill is vetoed, the domain collapses. However, because no fib/bill was manifested, his lie-o-meter remains full. Thus, Connor can instantly reopen his domain and propose a new revised bill. If Othniel passes a bill, whatever is written on it becomes a permanent change to reality. For example, if Connor proposed a bill that stated that the United States would have always used the metric system and it was passed, then that would become a reality. In this new history, the United States had never switched from the metric system.

Othniel, the being overseeing the Cursed Congress within Connor's domain, is actually the first cursed spirit born in the human world. Othniel is the curse of judgment, born shortly after Sin's tearing of the veil between the physical and spirit world. Othniel is also the one who approves of binding vows that sorcerers can make.

Warren Majors, or Ren, is a major antagonist of the Buzzutsu Kaisen series and the current vessel of Envy. He is the middle Majors triplet and brother of [[Melanie Majors|Melanie]] and [[Caspian Majors|Caspian]].

Warren has a tall and skinny build with messy blond hair and blue eyes. After combining with Envy, he is able to dissipate his body into a pitch-black shadow.

==Personality==

Outwardly, Warren appears to be a gloomy person with a cynicism for life. He prefers to keep his feelings to himself, and not even his closest friends have been able to pry them from him. In truth, he has lost touch with his humanity since losing his family and recreating his siblings as spirits. His ability to create spirits causes him to view them no differently from humans. After learning the truth about his family's deaths at the hands of Mr. C and the Olobukuns, he swore to exact revenge against the humans and usher in an era of spirits on the earth. His feelings of envy towards humankind are exacerbated by Envy's influence.

Warren is envious that spirits are forced to live in despair on the Earth while humans are able to live peaceful lives.

===Buzzutsu===

Prior to the Incident, Warren possessed the cursed technique “Brain Nourishment” which granted him the ability to dissipate negative emotions. However, the Incident twisted something within Warren: instead of dispelling cursed spirits, he began perpetually generating them from an aura of vile, offensive, and demented opinions.

What once was “Brain Nourishment” is now “Brain Rot.” This technique allows Warren to spawn cursed spirits from his own negative opinions and corrupt the minds of others. Exposure to his twisted thoughts will lead to total neuronal brain death.

His domain expansion, “'''Malignant Penance'''” not only expands his Brain Rot aura to a large area, but also subjects all those within it to face manifestations of their past trauma. Lower-level sorcerers and civilians caught in his domain will die nearly instantaneously due to the effects of Brain Rot. Higher-level sorcerers can defend themselves through their simple domain or brain-reinforcement but will have their cursed techniques stripped as "penance" for their past sins. Total failure to defend yourself against this domain allows for it to use it's true effect: ''corruption.'' The true effect of the domain corrupts sorcerers and turns them into cursed spirits. Warren can manifest cursed spirits from scratch using his Brain Rot, but because his domain corrupts and does not create, he is unable to ''permanently'' turn a sorcerer into a cursed spirit. His domain essentially pumps the opponents body full of cursed energy (more than the body is able to reasonably maintain) thus becoming more curse than human.

The corruption can be terminated under the following conditions:

1. If the opponent is no longer able to withstand the cursed energy, they will die and the corruption will end as a result.

2. If the opponent ''is'' able to withstand the cursed energy, the corruption will end when their body naturally dispels all of the added cursed energy. The time it takes for the cursed energy to be dispelled depends on the sorcerers proficiency with cursed energy.

3. The corruption will cease if Warren is killed ''or'' is hit with a domain expansion.

For example, if you try to move north while the technique is active you will move in any other direction that is NOT north, despite thinking you are still moving north. This technique is activated and placed on others through hand signs and the tattooed sigils she has on her palms. Whatever new compass rose she forces her opponent to obey is randomized, but it is ''fixed''. For example, if you attempted to move north and actually moved east, then east is your new north. This technique can be overcome if the opponent is able to understand and adapt to their new sense of direction. If they understood that in order to move north they had to move east, then they could essentially move freely as long as they abide by the new compass rose. Rosa can, in theory, keep applying her technique to her opponent, thus resetting the technique and applying a new compass rose. However, this would be very taxing and would leave her weakened and her technique burnt out.

This technique is also applied to the academy as anyone who looks at the academy will have their perception diverted to any other direction, effectively cloaking the academy from sight. if you try and walk towards it, you will move around it/away from it without ever knowing it.

Diego’s cursed technique Sketch allows him to bring anything he draws to life. Diego can essentially create his own shikigami, a powerful tool in combat. To do this Diego utilizes the cursed pen Atramentum to execute his cursed technique. The cursed energy-infused ink stored within Atramentum imbues each drawing with cursed energy that is released when the drawing is summoned.
The only limit to this technique is Diego’s own artistic abilities as his ink constructs are only as good as his drawings. An ink construct’s power is determined by the amount of detail, finesse, and ink used in the drawing. Once a drawing is summoned, that drawing disappears from the page.

To ensure he always has drawings ready, Diego keeps with him a sketchbook full of various drawings. He can often be found drawing in this sketchbook, replenishing the constructs he uses up in battle.

When fully awakened, 2 black snakes emerge from 2 small openings to wrap around the length of the staff, while the carved wings unfold and spread out to reveal a bright light at its center.

Renzo Ramirez, or Rev, is a side character of the Buzzutsu Kaisen series. He was the first of the current generation to drop out of [[Buzzutsu Academy]]. He currently works as a mechanic and drag races from time to time.

Renzo’s cursed technique is “Blaze Engine” which applies a wholly unique system to his cursed energy. His cursed energy output works much like an engine, forcing Renzo to shift gears to manage his cursed energy. By shifting gears, he can manipulate the lower and upper bounds of his cursed energy output. The 1st gear prevents Renzo’s output from exceeding a lower bound, while the 4th gear prevents his output from falling below a higher bound. Once Renzo’s engine starts, he must shift gears to prevent it from stalling. His engine can stall in a few different ways:

1. By shifting gears too fast or skipping to a higher gear without allowing the engine to warm up first.

2. By having his gear shift interrupted.

3. By staying in high gear for too long, stalling the engine.

A stalled engine prevents Renzo from using any cursed energy until he allows it to recover. This can take some time.

Renzo’s understanding of cars gives him a good understanding of how to use his technique, so he rarely ever stalls his engine. Renzo can also "redline" his cursed engine, pushing it to its total limit to achieve increased CE output. Redlining will not automatically result in a stalled engine as he can stall shift to a lower gear to maintain his output. Redline acts as a brief boost to his abilities. However, the more Renzo redlines, the more prone his engine is to overheating and stalling.

In addition to his innate technique, Renzo also possesses a unique attribute to his cursed energy. Renzo's CE acts like fire, spreading around his surroundings and burning his opponents. The higher gear his engine is in, the hotter his CE becomes.

Mrs. Godwin is a taller than average woman with a lithe build. Her dirty blonde hair is kept short and she has blue eyes, normally hid behind aviator glasses. she sports raven tattoos on her forearm, within which her ravens can be stored.

Mrs. Godwin often comes across as cold as a teacher and does not put up with any trouble from her students. She tends to be critical of the world around her and is an excellent judge of others.

===Buzzutsu===

Mrs. Godwin’s Wordsmith technique traps her opponents within the verses of her poems, channeling the latent power within each verse. These poems often resemble a complex labyrinth of visions, though they vary depending on the content of Mrs. Godwin’s writing. Mrs. Godwin doesn’t have to be present to recite these poems, as she is able to speak through her ravens from any distance. These visions are only visible to those targeted by the poetry and act as a smokescreen to allow Mrs. Godwin’s allies to attack unseen.

The integrity of the illusion is maintained by Mrs. Godwin’s connection with her raven and the quality and continuance of the poem. In theory, the poem can be severed by killing the raven and halting the recitation.

Her domain expansion, "'''Sapphic Refrain'''", is an incomplete domain without a barrier. In place of a barrier, Godwin creates a vortex of countless ravens that she speaks through to conjure a massive illusion. She can modify the position of her domain to suit her needs, and the domain will only fall if countered with a stronger domain, or if she is somehow revealed within her domain and is killed/incapacitated.

Connor possesses the Fibber Technique. When Connor tells a lie, his technique stores that lie into a slip of old, weathered parchment that appears on his skin. This slip is a '''fib''', which Connor can burn to turn that stored lie into truth. For example, if Connor were to say "my fingers are knives" and a fib appears on his body, he could then spend that fib to then turn his fingers into knives. Each fib he creates and spends is comprised of cursed energy, so while in theory he could create fibs and spend them endlessly, that would require Connor to have an infinite supply of cursed energy (which he does not). Despite being a cursed spirit and naturally possessing reverse cursed healing, his cursed energy production is susceptible from being slowed or stopped. His reserve of cursed energy he can spend on fibs is referred to as his "lie-o-meter" - the fuller the meter, the bigger the fib he can spend.

Another important note about his fibs is that they are NOT permanent. Reality is rigid, so when Connor bends reality to manifest a lie, it doesn't take very long for reality to bend back and correct this warping of reality. The only way that a fib can be made permanent is through his domain expansion. Connor's domain, "'''Capitol Hill"''', activates when Connor spends the entirety of his lie-o-meter. Within his domain, his lie is stored within a proposed bill, that he must present to his Cursed Congress. The Cursed Congress is made up of 2 parts: the House of Representatives comprised of past and future world leaders representing mankind, and the Senate comprised of various spirits representing the spirit world. Connor's bill must win by majority vote by both for it to be passed. However, both the House and Senate can propose changes to the original bill, which may delay the process. Once both sides are in agreement of what the bill should entail, it is then passed to the president of the Cursed Congress: Othniel. Othniel is an ancient being of unknown origin, and is the one who ultimately decides if the bill will pass or if it will be vetoed. Unlike in the America, a veto from Othniel cannot be overridden. Once A bill is vetoed, the domain collapses. However, because no fib/bill was manifested, his lie-o-meter remains full. Thus, Connor can instantly reopen his domain and propose a new revised bill. If Othniel passes a bill, whatever is written on it becomes a permanent change to reality. For example, if Connor proposed a bill that stated that the United States would have always used the metric system and it was passed, then that would become a reality. In this new history, the United States had never switched from the metric system.

Primarily, Mei’s technique manifests as a floating cursor companion, Shuji, that follows Mei around. With enough programming, Mei is able to execute certain functions through Shuji. Through Shuji, Mei can select anything (material or living) and drag it through space, trap it in a folder, or create a copy of it. In addition to these functions, Mei can actually fly by riding her cursor Shuji.
Shuji, in theory, can be programmed to do anything as long as all bugs have been worked out. The more strenuous of a task, the more difficult it is to program. Unfinished programs can lead to disastrous effects like the desired function backfiring onto the user or surroundings or even the brief disappearance of Shuji.

Her most powerful ability is her domain expansion: '''Master Control'''. Master Control grants Mei access to the ''source code'' of anything with cursed energy within her domain. By altering source code, she could change anything she wishes regarding the opponents cursed energy. However, her ability to do so i heavily dependent on the complexity of the opponent's (or cursed object/weapons) source code. For example, if she were to use Master Control on a low-level curse (for example, a curse born from the fear of peeing your pants in school), she would most likely be able to strip it of it's cursed energy entirely, or even delete it all together due to the simplicity of it's code. Now, with a special grade curse with complex source code, Mei would have to reprogram their cursed energy with much more care, as any bugs in the code would nullify any changes made. After learning the truth about his family's deaths at the hands of Mr. C and the Olobukuns, he swore to exact revenge against the humans and usher in an era of spirits on the earth. His feelings of envy towards humankind are exacerbated by Envy's influence.

What once was “Brain Nourishment” is now “Brain Rot.” This technique allows Warren to spawn cursed spirits from his own negative opinions and corrupt the minds of others. Exposure to his twisted thoughts will lead to total neuronal brain death.

His domain expansion, “'''Final Penance'''” not only expands his Brain Rot aura to a large area, but also subjects all those within it to face manifestations of their past trauma. Lower-level sorcerers and civilians caught in his domain will die nearly instantaneously due to the effects of Brain Rot. Higher-level sorcerers can defend themselves through their simple domain or brain-reinforcement but will have their cursed techniques stripped as "penance" for their past sins. Total failure to defend yourself against this domain allows for it to use it's true effect: ''corruption.'' The true effect of the domain corrupts sorcerers and turns them into cursed spirits. Warren can manifest cursed spirits from scratch using his Brain Rot, but because his domain corrupts and does not create, he is unable to ''permanently'' turn a sorcerer into a cursed spirit. His domain essentially pumps the opponents body full of cursed energy (more than the body is able to reasonably maintain) thus becoming more curse than human.

The corruption can be terminated under the following conditions:

1. If the opponent is no longer able to withstand the cursed energy, they will die and the corruption will end as a result.

2. If the opponent ''is'' able to withstand the cursed energy, the corruption will end when their body naturally dispels all of the added cursed energy. The time it takes for the cursed energy to be dispelled depends on the sorcerers proficiency with cursed energy.

3. The corruption will cease if Warren is killed ''or'' is hit with a domain expansion.

Nicole is a young woman of above average height. She has long, thick, wavy copper brown hair and blue eyes with a ring of gold around the pupil. She has a runner's build and a feminine figure. She also wears sportswear in her favorite teams, which are all the major Tampa Bay teams plus the Florida Gators.

Nicole is loud and hotheaded, often acting before she thinks. While she can come off as abrasive, she cares deeply for others within her sphere, and is a big extrovert. She is insecure about her lack of cursed energy, but tends to mask her negative emotions to avoid feeding curses. She is also curious and investigative, as she worked as a student journalist at the University of Florida before she came to the Academy. Nicole possesses the “Book Worm” technique, which grants her the ability to link her mind with an opponent’s, gathering information regarding their strengths and weaknesses. She initiates her technique by lodging a cursed Bookunai into an opponent, linking her mind with their own. Once a Bookunai has found its target, it cannot be removed unless she wills it. Nicole also shares a permanent psychic link with her cat/worm Shikigami Jingle, who feeds on the information gained from those marked with her Bookunai. The more knowledge Jingle consumes, the bigger and stronger she becomes.

After Nicole merges with Jingle, she gets the technique '''Feed The Beast'''. She no longer needs the bell to summon Jingle and can change into her '''Beast Mode'''. Beast Mode originally gives her just heightened senses to detect curses and cat-like reflexes, but she can use her claws (formerly bookunai) to consume knowledge about the curse like normal. The only difference is that because Jingle is inside of her, Nicole herself can feed off to gain energy and eventually (through patience and proper feeding) can get high cursed output. The changes are NOT permanent though, as she must keep the beast fed. The hunger goes down quicker if she exerts herself more and/or takes damage. However, at the peak of beast mode, Nicole is considered to be the fastest Buzzutsu sorcerer in the world.

Nicole's Domain Expansion: '''Cat's Cradle''' allows Nicole to neutralize 1 part of her opponents brain. In her domain, the opponent's brain is visualized as a bunch of balls of yarn- each ball representing a different part of the brain. Nicole can untangle these balls of yarn- turning that part of the brain off. For example, she could untangle the yarn located in the fusiform face area of the brain, resulting in her opponent losing their facial recognition. Cat's Cradle is partially execution based, as Nicole has to successfully untangle and make the proper cradle position of the yarn in order for it to work, but the domain's sure-hit effect guarantees the opponent will be unable to move while the untangling occurs.

Bookunai is a cursed tool that acts as a conduit for Nicole's Bookworm technique. Bookunai look just like typical bookmarks but are made from a stronger, more lethal material capable of channeling cursed energy.

What used to require the sacrifice of a small animal to trigger the technique, now can be done by herself as the Emissary learned reverse-cursed technique to rapidly heal after offering her own blood (her dagger facilitate the offering of blood but also prevents her healing from being 100% effective, hence the various scars across her body). After the blood is spilt, she simply has to fall into it to arrive at her destination. The greater the distance traveled, the more blood must be offered.

She explains the millennia-long conflict between the Sindicate and the Olobukuns, then tells Gabriel that the Olobukun line will end with him. She uses her technique to bring Gabriel to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and tosses him an axe with which to defend himself. Gabriel has unlocked his dormant virtuous energy, and is able to defeat the Emissary. Gabriel tells the Emissary that he will find the Seven Deadly Sins and put an end to Sin once and for all. The Emissary gives a crooked smile before Gabriel leaves her to die. Gabriel changes his name to Raphael and embarks on his journey to defeat Sin.

For this reason, Fenix is usually armed with an assortment of toothpicks, pencils, paperclips, and other harmless office supplies.

Fenix also possesses a secret cursed amplification technique: Null Set. This technique harnesses the inherent lethality of “nothing” to deliver a 100% lethal blast. Bagwis’ cursed technique, Thread Manipulation, allows him to create clothing out of threads imbued with cursed energy. This cursed clothing is resistant to cursed energy damage while augmenting the cursed energy output of the wearer. These cursed threads is something his technique creates but it does so slowly, so if he does not choose his clothes wisely he runs the risk of his spools running out. In the fashion world Bagwis is known as Yumbo Chuggins, with his alias signed across each of his works.
His Domain Expansion, Fit Check, presents both Bagwis and his opponent with a large assortment of thrifted clothing. They must put together an entirely thrifted outfit and walk the runway to be judged. If Bagwis’ outfit is scored higher by the judges, then his new outfit boosts his cursed energy output by tenfold, while his opponent’s outfit will act as a cursed energy debuff. The cursed clothing is not impervious, meaning that the opponent can successfully destroy Bagwis’ cursed clothing (with some degree of difficulty). While Bagwis’ fashion sense almost guarantees a successful domain expansion, he is not proficient with expanding his domain.

Mei possesses the Cursor technique which allows the user to perceive cursed energy as an endless series of code. The technique’s abilities are only gained through the “programming” of this cursed code.
Primarily, Mei’s technique manifests as a floating cursor companion, Shuji, that follows Mei around. With enough programming, Mei is able to execute certain functions through Shuji. Through Shuji, Mei can select anything (material or living) and drag it through space, trap it in a folder, or create a copy of it. In addition to these functions, Mei can actually fly by riding her cursor Shuji.
Shuji, in theory, can be programmed to do anything as long as all bugs have been worked out. The more strenuous of a task, like deleting something that is selected, the more difficult it is to program. Unfinished programs can lead to disastrous effects like the desired function backfiring onto the user or surroundings or even the brief disappearance of Shuji.

Pavel Constantinescu, known by his students as Mr. C, is a reoccurring character of the Buzzutsu Kaisen series. He is the head of Buzzutzu Academy, and is, without question, the strongest Buzzutsu sorcerer of the modern world.

==Appearance==

Mr. C is extremely tall and strong, sporting his old basketball jersey over a plain white t-shirt and khaki pants. He sports a shaved head and has brown eyes covered by reflective glasses.

==Personality==

Mr. C is extremely intelligent and diligent in his studies. He can be hard on his students, but that is only because he believes they are capable of greatness. He has an unexpected jokester side of him and can appreciate the silly shenanigans of his students, even if he doesn't show it.

===Buzzutsu===

Pavel Constantinescu was born with the Semper Paratus technique despite coming from a family with no history of having sorcerers or inherited techniques. This technique allows its user to perceive the world through an infinite number of mathematical equations and values. For example, a Semper Paratus user can perceive the precise volume, circumference, and every other mathematical aspect of a glass of water, but they cannot see the glass as others can. A Semper Paratus user will still know where the glass exists in the space and can discern its physical qualities, but the actual image of it is lost to them. The sheer amount of information Pavel was able to see that he couldn’t process began to damage his mind, forcing him to wear a blindfold for many years.

As Pavel progressed, he expanded his technique by increasing his mathematical perception to include not just his sight, but all five of his senses. For example, by feeling a gust of wind he could ascertain the exact position of an opponent. While Pavel was rapidly improving his technique, his brain still grew tired from the mental strain. Pavel spent long stretches of time in sensory deprivation tanks to allow his mind to recover. By age 20, he mastered reverse cursed technique, allowing him to practice Semper Paratus without mental inhibition.

Mr. C’s complete mastery of reverse cursed technique allowed him to create two forms of Semper Paratus to be used in battle: Explicit and Recursive. Mr. C can calculate the critical points of all things around him using equations of his own design. In this way, he is able to calculate the trajectory of a bird in flight or a punch thrown and break it down into critical points of a sequence of movement. Explicit allows Mr. C to calculate the critical point that precedes an opponent’s current movements, allowing him to see, counter, and dodge an opponent’s attacks before they can land them. Explicit works on multiple targets and objects which gives Mr. C the upper hand in every combat situation, allowing him to predict every attack. Recursive limits this calculation to one target, but Mr. C can see every point in that target’s sequence, allowing full anticipation of their movements. Given this information, Mr. C is oftentimes able to calculate the entire sequence of a fight before it even begins. Explicit and Recursive can be interchanged at will and usage of both in combat makes Mr. C nearly impossible to hit. The only counters to this technique are direct attacks to the brain and domain expansions.

Mr. C’s domain expansion, Pop Quiz transforms the physical space within his domain into a classroom. Anyone caught within it is forced to solve a math problem of Mr. C’s choosing, or else they will die. These math equations are incredibly complex, and opponents are only given a No. 2 pencil and a piece of scrap paper with 1 minute on the clock. No one to date has been able to solve one of his equations.

At age 5, Pavel’s home was attacked by an unseen intruder, resulting in the deaths of his entire family. Only Pavel managed to survive, though he suffered grave injuries. After the attack, Pavel was picked up by the Buzzutsu Council for protection. Despite his injuries, Pavel insisted on training his technique so that he might exorcise cursed spirits and any who would harm the innocent. He would spend 10 years learning to withstand the infinite information entering his brain, mastering all forms of mathematics by the age of 15. He even invented new forms of mathematics which had not yet been discovered.

William Meinberg, also known as Liam, is a side character of the Buzzutsu Kaisen series. Although he has already graduated from Buzzutsu Academy, he sticks around to tutor the remaining students. He assists them in combat techniques and encourages them to become the strongest versions of themselves. Liam is of Russian nationality but has Nordic ancestry, coming from a long line of sorcerers.

Liam has a compact, sturdy build with a broad chest and shoulders covered by bearskin. He has brown hair that he often keeps braided back and a thick, brown beard.

=Personality=

Liam is extremely enthusiastic about combat, gaining genuine joy when talking to others about the art. Because of this enthusiasm, he tends to be impulsive and brash, putting himself into thrilling situations with no fear. While not very social, it is very evident that Liam has a heart of gold and is devoted to protecting those he cares about.

Liam has incredible physical strength and is highly proficient with his cursed energy usage, which is more than enough to take down cursed spirits on its own. He has also mastered multiple forms of martial arts to diversify his attack strategies. Liam’s true technique is Ragnarök, which burns up his own life force when evoked. Liam’s cursed technique harnesses the might of the giant Surtyr, transforming Liam into a ravenous fiery beast who, like the Norse legend, lays waste to anything in his path. Ragnarök starts when the whistle around Liam's neck, Gjallarhorn, is blown.

This main arc chiefly deals with Eric and Envy's partnership.

==The Incident==

Eric, Grant, Steph, Luke, and Trenton are hanging out at UTC mall. Eric picks up on some residuals and begins investigating a disturbance incited by Envy to lure him there.
Envy corrupts/possesses Eric.
Eric’s “Brain Rot” technique corrupts Grant, Steph and Luke. With their wills weakened, Envy is able to spread their influence between these hosts. Trenton is strangely unaffected, but is forced to retreat. Eric’s “Brain Rot” kills everyone else in the mall. This event is known by the public as the “UTC Massacre.”
Trenton survives, maybe because he instinctively activates Midnight Steel (but has no memory of this). He catches a glimpse of Eric committing the massacre before he passes out but is unable to believe that his friend was behind it.

==Gang vs Devious Lick Curse==

Devious lick eats children in a school.

Trenton, Daniel, and Rhianan

Devious lick is only vulnerable from the inside. Daniel uses squid constructs. Trenton uses bronze medal form. Rhianan tries to lodge her bookunai in the curse, but it's skin is resistant. The curse catches one and eats it, revealing the location of its soul to Rhianan. Trenton enters the curse to kill it from within. He rescues the kids while Daniel fights the curse from the outside.
